“The man who has begun to live more seriously within begins to live more simply without.” – Ernest Hemingway
09h00 AM– The beautiful city of El Coca will be our meeting point and then we will start sailing for approximately 1 hour on the majestic Napo River until we reach the Shuar Cultural community.
The Shuar culture is characterized by maintaining its spiritual strength through ancestral knowledge. Therefore, when you arrive in our community we will receive you in a traditional way without precedent (the ritual of the spear, “Tsaant-tobacco” is a fundamental part of the spirituality of the Shuar person), after that the vibration of your energy will be reflected on your face through the iconographies that women will make for you. In the same way, the protagonists of our community will allow you to learn about the importance of spirituality and the relationship that exists between human beings and nature.
Your experiential adventure will culminate knowing our gastronomy, walking a path of medicinal plants-hallucinogenics, we will talk about mythologies, we will play ancestral games and more.

Shuar Cultural Center offers cutural immersion tours focused on bringing our visitors into the world of Shuar cosmovision where we live in balance with nature and jungle spirits.
Wetlands cover a small portion of the planet but their capacity to capture carbon is enormous. They can store 50 times more carbon than tropical rainforests, which helps keep heat-trapping gas that contributes to climate change out of the atmosphere.
What are you waiting for to know this incredible adventure?
In order to balance the dimensions of your mind, spirit and body, you will engage in a totally unique ancestral ceremony with the kambo frog. The defensive method of this Amazonian amphibian will allow you to live an experience of deep healing and a spiritual encounter with yourself.
We are a Shuar community that promotes experiential or knowledge tourism as the main alternative to learn about ancestral knowledge and link it with adventure activities in the Amazon jungle.
